These are the rules for RimWood, a long-term Minecraft Java survival server for adults.

🌱 Don’t hurt people. Don’t trash the world. Don’t cheat.
🌱 Build, live, and think long-term.
Everything below is a practical explanation of that rule.
• Official Minecraft Java Edition accounts only.
• Modified clients are not allowed unless explicitly approved by staff.
• RimWood never requires unofficial launchers, modpacks, cracked clients, mods, or third-party files.
• Anything installed or modified on your device is your responsibility.
• RimWood is primarily an 18+ community. Players aged 16–17 may be accepted only with explicit staff approval, usually by recommendation from a trusted player. Players under 16 are not accepted.
• No insults, bullying, harassment, trolling, threats, stalking, hate speech, or toxic behavior.
• Keep sexual, dating, and relationship content out of public server spaces.
• Do not pressure players for private contact, photos, social media, dating, relationships, or real-life meetings.
• Unsafe, sexual, or predatory behavior toward minors results in an immediate permanent ban.
• Public chat is English only. Other languages may be used in private messages.
• No NSFW content, spam, excessive caps, political campaigning, personal conflicts, or deliberately offensive content.
• No unsolicited advertising or recruiting for other servers, communities, or commercial projects.
• Do not impersonate staff or threaten players with “admin powers.”
• Claim land with the Golden Shovel before building.
• Keep at least 150 blocks from another active player base unless its owner clearly agrees.
• No stealing, griefing, unauthorized modifications, traps, or deliberate damage.

• PvP is allowed only when everyone involved agrees.
• One account per player unless staff approves otherwise.
• Rules and penalties apply to every account controlled by the same player.
• Farms, redstone, and automation are allowed unless they cause serious lag, exploit bugs, or damage the world.
• Staff may require harmful or server-heavy builds to be changed or removed.
• Cut it down? Replant it. Killed one? Breed one.
• Do not strip shared locations bare.
• Take what you need and leave enough for the next player.
• You found something because someone before you chose not to take everything.
• Staff may act against behavior, builds, accounts, or technical setups that threaten players, server stability, or the long-term world, even when the exact situation is not listed here.
• Depending on severity, violations may result in a warning, mute, kick, temporary ban, or permanent ban.
• Rules may be updated when needed to protect players, server stability, and the long-term world.
